Patricia Gustin, the executive director for Allara Senior Living, has more than 25 years of experience in the service industry, with 15 years of those years in senior living. She has taken care of seniors in independent living, assisted living and memory care. As an executive director, Patricia has operated and opened senior communities for various organizations. Prior to operations, she spent over 10 years in human resources management specializing in people and culture management, benefits and labor relations, while going to school to achieve her master’s degree.

Patricia received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Her core competencies include strategic planning, marketing, quality improvements and change management. Her mission with Allara Senior Living is to create a positive, compassionate and enriching environment for seniors, staff and guests, while ensuring the financial and operational excellence of the community.  

While she’s not working, Patricia usually spends time with loved ones in Southern California or in Fresno, where she spent most of her life after moving from the Philippines at age 11. She has one son and a huge family across the globe that stays close. She loves gardening, cooking, hot yoga, dancing and traveling with her significant other. 

Jennifer Parilla serves as the director of Sales and Marketing for Allara Senior Living. She brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the role, with 14 years focused on the senior living industry. She enjoys this industry because she gets to witness each resident thrive in a social environment. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from The University of Phoenix and also holds a real estate license and a license in health care administration. 

In Jennifer’s spare time, she runs a senior outreach ministry that gives back to seniors in need. She also enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and two daughters, four dogs, cat and two Guinea pigs, whom she loves very much. 

Gina Thompson has over 25 years of experience within the health insurance industry. She has dedicated her career to educating seniors on the importance of insurance in senior living communities throughout the Inland Empire and Orange County. Gina enjoys working with seniors and listening to their life stories and gaining from their wisdom. 

In Gina’s spare time, she enjoys RVing with her husband and dog, taking walks, skiing, roller-skating, and attending church. She also treasures spending time with her daughter and extended family. 

Christin Farrell is Allara Senior Living’s Generations Program director and brings 10 years of senior living industry experience to this role. She has a Residential Care Facility license, and her goal is to someday become a registered nurse. Christin loves what she does and hopes the families at Allara find comfort in knowing their loved ones are safe and well cared for. 

In Christin’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on new adventures. 

As a Filipino born and raised in the Philippines, Helen values hard work above all else. She came to California in 1991 and began working as a hotel concierge. From there, she moved into various other roles in the hotel industry before joining the Allara Senior Living team as the Business Office director. She hopes to demonstrate the highest level of integrity and commitment to our community each day.

Alexis Ireland found her passion for senior living care when she interned at an assisted living community while in college at California State University–Northridge. She says, after her first week of interning, her purpose became clear and she knew senior care was the path for her. Alexis then went on to study gerontology in graduate school at the University of Southern California. Through this path, she was connected with organizations such as the Susan G. Komen awareness movement and the Alzheimer’s Association, where she was able to advocate for senior populations. Alexis is proud of her position and enjoys making residents laugh and smile.

Mark Cunningham is the Building Services director for Allara Senior Living. He brings over 20 years of building maintenance experience to the position and truly takes pride in making sure our community is in the best shape possible for our staff and residents. Mark enjoys knowing that his work has a positive impact on Allara’s residents and their family members.  

In his free time, Mark enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his three grandchildren.
