LeeAnn Hefner serves as the executive director of Allara Senior Living and brings with her over 25 years of experience in the senior care industry. She has worked in many roles, including at hospitals, skilled nursing, home health and hospice, and has managed assisted living and memory care communities. She is an active board member at Huntington Hospital, City of Hope, Methodist Hospital and End of Life Coalition. LeeAnn says her favorite thing about her job is working with the residents and their families and being a part of Allara’s beautiful community. Her goal is to ensure all residents are happy, well cared for and living their best possible lives.
In LeeAnn’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Mindy Ross serves as Allara Senior Living’s director of Sales and Marketing and has over 15 years of experience in health care and senior living. Throughout her career, Mindy has worked in many different roles, but assisting seniors in the search for their perfect apartment has been her favorite by far. She moved from Washington state and joined the Allara team in 2018.
Ruth Villa, LVN
Resident Care Director
Ruth Villa serves as Allara Senior Living’s Resident Care director. She started her journey in the health care industry as a nursing assistant before becoming a medical assistant and an EMT. Ruth’s passion and drive of caring for others eventually led her to pursue a career as a licensed vocational nurse, working in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities, and then as a director of staff development, training and preparing students for the California State Exam for Certified Nursing Assistants. She holds certifications as a designee in social services, human resources, wound care and dementia training. Ruth believes that, “if you listen to the needs of the ones whom you’re caring for, then the care will be heard.”
Business Office Director
As a Filipino born and raised in the Philippines, Helen values hard work above all else. She came to California in 1991 and began working as a hotel concierge. From there, she moved into various other roles in the hotel industry before joining the Allara Senior Living team as the Business Office director. She hopes to demonstrate the highest level of integrity and commitment to our community each day.
Culinary Services Director
Amy Monje has over 10 years of experience cooking and working with senior living communities. She graduated from The Art Institute of California–San Diego and was classically trained in world cuisine. Right out of culinary school, she was hired as an executive chef and was quickly promoted to regional chef, where she supported over a dozen senior living communities. She believes food is an art form and food should both look and taste amazing.
In her spare time, Amy runs a nonprofit animal rescue and lives by her motto “My feet move my body, but food and animals move my soul.”
Vibrant Life® Director
Alexis Ireland found her passion for senior living care when she interned at an assisted living community while in college at California State University–Northridge. She says, after her first week of interning, her purpose became clear and she knew senior care was the path for her. Alexis then went on to study gerontology in graduate school at the University of Southern California. Through this path, she was connected with organizations such as the Susan G. Komen awareness movement and the Alzheimer’s Association, where she was able to advocate for senior populations. Alexis is proud of her position and enjoys making residents laugh and smile.
Building Services Director
Anthony M. Pedroza oversees the maintenance and housekeeping operations at Allara Senior Living. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and received his associate degree in electrical technologies. Anthony strives to make life easy for residents, whether that’s helping with a seamless move-in, modifying rooms to their liking or just putting smiles on their faces. He believes that each resident should receive the best care possible, including whatever is needed to make them feel comfortable.
